Having decided to change to a MAC at work I still needed to run a couple of windows programmes. I thought of just using Boot Camp but then I discovered Parallels Desktop For Mac which unlike Boot Camp runs within the MAC OS without the need to reboot.

Installation of both Parallels and Windows XP went like a dream and i have found it very easy to use with the ability to switch between programmes using the MAC OS and Windows XP so easy.

As I don't need to use windows programmes much I don't notice and performance issues.

Im using a MAC Mini with 1GB RAM

Really nice piece of software. Installation was smooth and very quick (10 minutes). Also XP running under looking good - very stable. If you need to used that as a alternative to PC - go for it!
