Couple of things to note about this device. It only replicates the USB and video ports, not headphone or mic. This may not matter to you but I am using it with the Ergo T340 stand (which, despite many pictures on websites that suggest otherwise, does not include any port replication - it's just a stand, though very nice). The Port Replicator does lift the laptop up slightly, so that the front-mounted volume control and line out port can be accessed on the T340 stand. Otherwise, you can't reach the volume control.
The rear USB ports are quite close together, so as long as you have standard USB plugs you should be ok. Various locking/security options which is useful too.
The port replicator can drive an unpowered USB hub, something I had difficulty with on my Tecra M9L-101, which did not seem to pick up the USB hub I was using. Same hub works fine on the port replicator.
